Veggie Heavy !

A better belly .. both inside and from the outside ...

We are in the dead of the winter and it is a perfect time to rev up your green plates since a higher intake of veggies are associated with a greater immune response - plant power , so dig into some clean eating which is consuming food the way nature delivers it .. clean - natural - real food - beyond organic .. just live this happy lifestyle & get concius about your carbone footprint : shop local , drink at least 2 l of fresh water , eat when hungry stop when full and eat slowly as in mindful eating , take a moment to think about how you fuel your body and brain can make all the difference for : mood , immunity , sleep , workouts , even creativity & all of that jazz .. so challenge yourself to an exceptional 2020 !

Meanwhile I am focusing on my next foodie trip to Paris , leaving in just about a week I hope anyway - since I just heard on the news that this goddamn Corona virus has travelled to Paris and France ... be fatalistic or not is the question ...if we get there , I probably will have a hard time not to over eat ... trying to convince myself that it will be enough to look at all the pain du chocolat .. but no don´t be a bore .. eat it all when in Paris and live on carrots once back home .. life happens or ... Xxx

In my last post I did show you a picture of a Greek Giant Bean Hummus and yes I did do it but .. as I did see an interesting recipe on the telly one day , I decided to combine the two into one , here is what I did :

White nearly ready cooked beans any kind which I did cook a little more , slowly in cream until reduced to a creaminess , then I added a lot of grated parmesana cheese , sea salt and white pepper and mixed it all .. say no more - divine - delicious & it goes with nearly everything this is what I call food freedom or green comfort food !

Winter feelings .. well since we have a snow free and warm winter it does not feel like winter at all , so far .. might still happen .. and the nature probably thinks it is spring , some small flowers popping up , the birds are singing happily every morning and you can really feel how the light - lights up more and more.

All this is lovely but you don´t want to undertake any roadtrips by car because there is studded tires & you have to have them 1/12 - 31/3 this is the law .. furthermore they are noisy without snow so I am leaving the car .. if it is not absolutely necessary !

For the time being I am happy curled up in my little nest of home , slowly sipping on a golden latte hell yeah curcumin is so good for many things , most of all it is anti inflammatory & antioxidant it just feels so right to combine with - eat like a greek - do your yoga - smile - laugh - love !

In between cooking and food creating I am busy with the satisfying project , to plan my trips for 2020 , starting with Paris if we can .. and then right after a delightful trip to Copenhagen and the Picasso exhibition with darling friends Gittan & Davide .. and ..

Well as you know very well Greece is always on my mind !

But maybe Bhutan should be on the bucket list .. interesting food & their approach to the climate is if nothing else very fascinating , Lonely Planet has listed Bhutan the worlds best country to visit !
