Fun Romance

I have had a fantastic road trip ... 10 days and 1500 km later " little me " is back home with unforgettable memories & sights ... I did even run into a guy in Oslo who have been to my old restaurant on Aigina ..

Driving and listening to the radio or a book is like a romance for me .. so much to take in all the time .. horses grazing on a field or an old mill in the background , beautiful to pass and give a quick glance .... yes , yes I do look at the road and keep my hands on the steering wheel .. And the wonderful feeling to visit old friends is hard to beat , like Gunhild in Fredriksstad who I have not been able to see for more than 9 years .. we have been working and living together both at Myconos and in Athens .. there was some catching up to do during the 2 days we where together now !

There has also been some new food tasting or testing .. Norwegian food is completely different from the Swedish .. it has been an interesting trip in many ways and it is always lovely for me to not cook .. just order or to have someone cook for me ..

Greece is always on my mind , so was happy to read that the Kalamata olives are the healthiest in the world .. as it is not enough that they are extremely tasty !

Greek feelings in New York visit Astoria Seafood it is very Greek , with a good selection , part fish market & part restaurant .. a dream !

I am dreaming about lovely plates with , fresh greek food in front of me at my absolute favourite place on earth .. thats also a kind of romance !

Zucchini provides you with lutein and zeaxanthin which promote healthy eyesight

they are also a good source of magnesium , folate and fiber

So start some zucchini cooking .. put them on the grill or throw them in the oven , with some herbs , oil and parmesana cheese ..

Am in the mood for some healthy walks here in beautiful Sörmland aswell as a lot of green new cooking .. will develop some new foodie ideas and share with you next time , this is just a quick update from my days in my car ..

Do all the things you always wanted and remember to smile and be kind ... a smile gets you anywhere ... I promise !!
