Dare !

I honestly dont know whats wrong with me ... there is no stop button or what , I have challenged myself all my life , built and opened sometimes impossible food places ... like the very first small Salad Bar in Visby ... in fact not only my first place , it was the first Salad Place ever on Gotland ... they had never heard of something like that before ... and not slow in telling me ... a yong girl , that I was crazy .... because only rabbits did eat salad ....!!

Anyway people did love that little place .... and the Salads or Pain du Crudites , which they could bring to the beach !!

That was then and now is now ..... some 40 years later and me still at it .... I have said for years ... since we sold our place at Aigina , that I will stop to work .. but all the time something new shows up .. an old friend calling , who gives an offer or somebody else has heard of something they think is super perfect for me .. yes all the time something !

So here we go again ....

Yes I did say yes today , to be part of a food journey .. beginning soon , during the spring months , actually when I will be back from Greece , and yes I am delighted to start something new and fresh and that they want me , there in the kitchen or by the grill to put together lovely mouth watering , colourful plates ... but of course there will not be crazy hours or endless days ... since I am not the owner this time ... no , no this time I am to be a paid chef a couple of times a week , out in the country side , with absolute lovely surroundings .. and I can still do my road trips , so perfect or what ... !!

One time a Foodie always a Foodie ..... for sure it feels like that anyway ... as the years go by .. and I am here and there with my recipes and cooking ideas , colours , tastes , texture ,, what brings out .. what is the best marriage on the plate , high - low .......

Well I will be back and tell you more, or for you lucky ones who will come and cook with me on an island in September , you will here it from me in person ..
