Winter in the city ..

Hi, we are in the grip of King Bore ... with all that follows , the streets are so icy ... & I do not know if that was why I got a lumbago ... have not had any problems with my back for many years ... but the thing is, that it is impossible to walk in a relaxed way when the streets are in this condition , much better with snow , this happened a week ago , thanks to my turmeric pills I am much better , but still stiff , and there is limited options to what I can do .....no extreme stretches ...... so life is boring at the moment .. and of course then the chocolate comes in to soothe myself ...xo xo !!

I was also supposed to go up to Stockholm , for one week of acupunkture treatment , but as the luck is not on my side at the moment ... as " the cherry on the cake " the Chinese lady have had to go to Shanghai .... so treatment delayed ....

Ok , I have a bunch of friends to see in Stockholm , but with this back of mine at the moment ... sliding on the streets may , maybe not be the perfect situation .....

Stay in the kitchen and make some cookies might be better for me , for my nerves and beach season is miles away anyway .....

Chili Cookies

Melt 100 g of butter and combine with 3 dl of oats , 1/2 dl sugar , 1 1/2 dl flour , 1 tsp baking powder , 1/2 tsp chili powder , 1 tbsp lemon zest , 2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tsp sea salt

make 2 rolls and cover them in foil , let rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour

cut up 30 pieces ( without the foil ) put on a sheet and baking pan

15 min. 175c in the middle of the oven and , ready to indulge in this little wonder combination of sweet & hot , nearly as good as a hug !

Or some Pickled root Veggies

2 onions in pieces

1 cup of water

2 cups of white winegar

half a cup of sugar

half a carrot

a piece of okra

star anise

some sea salt

mix in a clean jar ,

they are perfect to serve together with

Grilled Cheese with Gruyere and maybe some thyme ..

I have an old habit ...I drink Applecidervinegar , nearly every day .. it aids digestion , is great for circulation and has vitamine C from the apples , try it out , if you dont like the taste add some honey !!

Current situation ..

Positive thinking - Eat better - Feel good - Exercise and all the rest ..

This is what your ultimate anti-inflammatory plate should look like :

50% veggies & fruits , though be aware of tomatoes, peppers, aubergine and potatoes !

25% protein

25% grains even if you dont have a gluten problem ... there could be an issue with protein in wheat , maybe better to leave the wheat alltogether

some good fat

ditch dairy and sugar

I have a new love , which me with my energy , probably dont need ... but wow its delicious !

Espresso Martini

half a small cup cold espresso

2 cl Kahlua

2 cl vodka

ice

and shake it ... important you should have put the glasses in the freezer for a while before serving .. some grated dark chocolate on top is necessary , beautiful and nice !

Full moon this Sunday , super blood moon with an eclipse who wraps up a 19 year journey , marking a sinificant turning point !

Stay humble , breathe , prioritize sobriety this weekend , take time alone , stay concious !!

At the moment I am listening to

Led Zeppelin " Stairway to heaven " it is perfect music for a yoga session ( which I am not doing for the moment ... ) and has a kind of Lunar & Solar flow , let the light back in , quickly now , I can report that it is 1 hour more light in the afternoon .. soon time for shades !!
