Herb Health !

Hi I am sitting and sipping a nice cup of tea ... in fact Pu-erh-tea .... which is said to have a lot of health benefits as reduction in cholesterol , cardiovascular protection & increase our energy .. could be a good thing as winter is coming with darker days !

Herbs are so interesting and so good in many ways , they give taste yes , they can reduce headache or stomach problems and many , many more options !!

Fabulous lentil & squash stew !

Fry 1 sliced or chopped onion in oil until tender , add 4-5 crushed garlic cloves add 1 diced squash , rosemary , thyme and sage , 200 g brussel sprouts , maybe some leek , 1 cup lentils and 2,5 l veg. stock , some chili flakes and tomatoe paste , bring to a boil and let simmer for 30-40 min.

Just before serving season with black pepper and salt.

Lentils reduce inflammation and promote fat metabolism ... not bad for such a small tasty filling thing and yes they are a good source of iron , if you combine them with vitamine C !!
