Boost needed !

After 2 hip surgeries within 11 months , and me only working when I kind of feel like it ... my affairs are in a bad state ..so this summer I have to work a lot , in fact I started 8 weeks after my latest hip hop change .. have to work some dollarsigns back , before I go bankrupt ..

And some help is needed , from akupressure to gingershots , to get me through this .. thanks god it only takes me like 2-3 minutes with my bicykle from home to work , but I tell you , little me is shattered in peaces after 4 days in a row .. seems like me & my body is not 16 any more , xa xa , ok it is long days and always a lot to do all the time ... and of course the body needs a year.. to fully recover from a major surgery !!

So I am more than usual into all kinds of health tips to stay on my feet ..

just read an article about " forest bathing " to be among trees is now said to be the new thing , inhaling forest essence could lower bloodpressure , the stress level and cut the risk for depression , 1 weekend close to trees is giving you a month of health benefits .. it even has a name in Japan " Shinrin-yoku " it is said to have been a big thing there for a long time , so out for a long walk in the closest forest !!

Fresh ginger , turmeric , coconut oil , berries , real cinnamon , garlic . parsley & spinach have to be on my menu , they are good to give you a real boost and keep your immune system on the right track , beetroots are also excellent friends !

I love my new hips , all pain gone , am walking normal again , so all that is totally " la vie en rose "

but all these years with insanely cutting in the kitchen , carrying a lot and much more restaurant involved work... has taken its toll on my arms especially the right one , and I normally keep this condition in shape with the help of chinese acupuncture ,done by a lovely little chinese lady in Stockholm , but unfortunately this year due to the strict movements after hip surgery , I couldnt do it and you need 5 days in a row .. so now it is to late , thats why I frantically are trying all the other options , had to work yesterday with a wristholder .....

But believe me I will get through this summer , with my body intact ...

And this may be of a good help !

Green ginger shot

half a cup menthe and parsley leafes

half a cup baby spinach

1 celery stem

half ripe avocado

1 lemon

1 inch peeled ginger

1 cup fresh squeezed apple juice

mix everything together

enjoy !

The one thing missing now , is for me to drag my body to the gym , some of my muscles in my legs are in pretty much need of a good drill , bicykling to and from the hospital kitchen , standing and walking all day there and stretching on my yoga mat at home is not enough no way it is not enough at all !!

Ok the gym in good time , until then ..

eat clean , ecological , in season,

skip all ready meals , processed food , all white stuff , dairy and sugar !!

Eat good quality eggs , fish , poultry , nuts , almond flour and fruits

your body will thank you , and you might loose some kilos aswell on the way !

I also have been to a funeral in Gothenburg , a very old and good friend went on his last trip Vasilis Demeroukis from Ag. Sostis at Myconos , he was the kindest man ever seen and will be greatly missed , my hearth goes out to his wife dear Kiki , hope she stays strong as I told her that day .. !

Yes , and what is helping me , is my memories of a fun night last September at Fårö Gotland ...

Thats where I am heading after this summer here in Nyköping , to dance , laugh , smile and talk , in the company of good music and good friends.. maybe I will see you there ....

Oh well , all in its own time and it will be even funnier , because then it has been in my fantasy all the summer , but I will surely enjoy lovely Sörmland with its small cafees and beautiful castles , yard sales and a lot more , first ..

Since I just drank a glass of water with applecider vinegar in it and cleaned my face with ACV the same stuff , better sing a song and praise applecider vinegar , it is so good and oh , rinse your hair with it after you have been shampooing , it will come out all shiny , love my ACV !

Dont forget that eating whole foods , moderate exercise and natural ways of living are the best you can do to keep it all up , and thats what keeping me on my track ...

For me personally I really wind down with a good book , the same goes for sitting at the library and be around books , here in Nyköping we live like 200 m. from the library " Culturum " so it is a bliss for me to pop in as I like ..

It is summer , summertime and the living is easy , so make easy food , fill your plates with what the season gives .. skip the heavy sauces and the store bought ice cream it is full of crapp ....

Here is a clever way to make your own

peel and boil 4 pears and let them cool off

cut them in thin slices , place the slices on a tray covered with plastic wrap , blend together 2 tbsp suryp with 1 tbsp ginger ( fresh grated ) drizzle this over the pears , put to freeze 1 h. & mix it quickly with 1 cup yoghurt , greek of course ...

and your fresh pear icecream is ready to enjoy
