Xo xo , hold your mind .. springtime , summer soon , obsession with our bodies , what a burden this is every year, all these years .. seems like it doesnt matter what age we are , this is for real or is it really so ..!

I think it is about time to stop the obsession in our heads how we look ...though I know that I am guilty of feeling fat and refusing to eat fattening foods .. we starve our bodies to feed our egos .. instead of living our lifes , happily , with a few pounds more .. stress is no good for us , and there is a lot of stress involved in the hunt for a perfect beach body .. so maybe we should just be happy that we have a body at all ....dont get me wrong , of course there are some medical occasions where there might be absolutely necessary to lose weight .. but if we are 10 pounds up and happy with it , why should we bother with what other people think , yes please tell me why !!
It is probably time to take care of our relationship with our lifestyle , food , ourselves and what kind of life we want to live , what makes us happy , we already know that in order to lose some weight , you move more than you eat , and if you are eating badly , and not exercise at all, there might be a chance to destroy your health ...the choice is yours it is after all your body !!

Create a fullfilling life for yourself , take care of yourself .
Three minutes spent sitting quiely and focusing on the breath every morning has a snowball effect on how we produce the rest of the day , the same thing done in the evening helps us to calm down and sleep better, and sleep , is really freaking important , so believe it or not , what you eat before bed and when, is something to think about !
Tryphtophan is magic , it produces serotinin , which helps you to sleep better , tryphtophan is found in turkey , pumpkin seeds , whole grains , a sandwich containing some of this together with some cherry juice might do the trick , cherries contains melatonin , or maybe a late night guacamole , avocado contains magnesium .
High fat foods on the other hand is not a good idea , they are real sleep stealers , fat takes a long time to digest and might make you restless during the night !
The air we breath could also harm you , if decent ventilation are lacking , there could be , headaches , dizziness , nausea , eye , ear and nose irritation ... a good and affordable solution is plants , they purify air ..
Mother in laws tounge , is a good choice , doesnt need much water and survives harsh conditions !



Just like these old buildings and the little church at the island Myconos , have survived strong winds during many years , so beautiful !


The same goes for this little bench in Slite at the island Gotland , I love this colour , because at Myconos they often use the same , as I love the sea at both places ....true islandology ..!
Go out and live the life true to yourself , express your feelings , stay in touch with friends be happier and dont spend your life on the treadmill of work existence .... so you dont sit there one day and regret what you did not do .... or ?

Well it happens that the time has come to celebrate our babys first step on her Chef career , Irida will the 9th of June finish 3 years at the Chef School here in Nyköping Sweden , and I am now planning for a Greek feast in the garden , having invited friends and family , praying for a day without rain ... and only fun !
After that she will work in the kitchen at the lovely little place Skafferiet here in Nyköping for 1 year and then 2 years again studying to Head Cook or Chef de la Cuisine , then I believe the dream is to study to Sommelier , all this in order to be able to cook perfect with your senses !!

Happiness is when what you think , what you say and what you do are in harmony !
And folks dont forget to eat your veggies , kale , broccoli , cauliflower , brussel sprouts etc. because your gut is like soil , you have to feed it , the right food and good bacteria for your hair & skin plus those veggies are super high in a range of antioxidants and compounds that are good for you and your body !
The body that you are taking to the beach with a big smile on your face ... !!
No worries , we are all going to make it & and if you really freak out about it , there are a new brain research , telling us that postural exercise can speak directly to the brain to reduce anxiety ... want to try it out ?
Do core based movements like yoga , thai chi , pilates and try to engage fully for 5-10 min.
Take at least 10 strong , deep breaths.
Take time to stretch.
You can in fact rewire your brain , with your thoughts or the way you stand or with a smile .. there is not much in this world more powerful than a smile !!

oops .. yes I know , not one single recipe .. as a matter of fact I am not so much in a cooking mood these days , still doing a lot of leg exercises and drinking golden milk , eating my oats , on my way to a strong and healtyish walking style , so bare with me , yet some more please !

You love yourself like it is your job.
You will love more people , more deeply.
Because loving yourself , will make you love others.
I have been listening to Extremely Powerful Morning Mantra to Start the Day , meditation music , while writing this post.
As usual , sing , dance , love , hug , kiss and pick some flowers ....dont forget to smile , be happy because loving yourself does not guarantee that you will be loved by others ...... in fact as a self respecting individual , you might really annoy some people , you WILL annoy a lot of people , you will be missunderstood , thought of as arrogant , you may be uninvited ....
