Go go girl !

Honestly , I cant believe that I am over and done with my hips ...the problems , pain , pills & all the rest of it .... during so many years ..... wow, am feeling like a totally new person , thanks to my fantastic surgeon Nils !!

Just like the little foal born yesterday morning , here in Hangvar , I am standing on new legs .. fantastic !

But of course , I do owe a lot to my hours at the gym and all the healthy food I have been stuffing myself with the last years , before my 2 surgeries... it paid off , until now and hopefully my recovery will go smooth ...

Here we have some easy to make quick healthy recipes for you , because food taste better when you cook it yourself !

Chick Pea Guacamole Salad

add 300 - 400 g cooked chickpeas , 1 diced avocado , 2 tbsp chopped shallots , 1 diced jalapeno , salt , cumin , cayenne and 1 lime juiced , in a bowl and stir , top with some crumbled feta cheese and cilantro

enjoy !

Jacket Potatoes with Curried Tuna and Feta

this is lazy food ...but still very nice ,

you will need

1 big baked potatoe or 2 small ,

mix 1 can tuna with 2 tsp currypaste , 2 tsp tomatoe paste , 1 tbsp mayonnaise

fill the potatoe & crumble some feta cheese on top , and place under the grill until lightly browned , serve with lettuce , spinach etc.

voila !

Bread is like a modern curse - word .. but .. bread lovers it can actually be part of a healthy diet ,

though the bread has to be made of sprouted grains or 100% whole - grains , of course 1 piece of baguette or sourdough once in a while .. is perfectly all right , because we do love our carbs !!

Something else Magnesium could be the magical missing mineral to maximize your best weight & health , it is an important corner stone that regulates , aging , stress , sleep , weight and depression .. it can make all the difference in the world !

And yes it can be found in chokolate .. what a luck ..

Then this is what not to do

believing life should be a certain way ..

comparing yourself to other people ..

being attached to material things ..

having expectations of people and situations ..

overthinking ..

forcing things to happen ..

focusing on whats wrong instead of whats right ..

filling the emptiness with sex, drugs, alcohol, spending money or any other addiction ..

making everything about you ..

Spring in Sweden .. and asparagus , its such a fantastic combination , white asparagus , egg, hazelnuts , baby spinach & hollandaise sauce

or

grilled with bacon and parmesan cheese , drizzle some vinaigrette over and top with basil and black pepper

asparagus is lovely in whatever way you serve it ,

and again , here we have magnesium , c - vitamin , calcium , vitamin A, B 6 and iron , nice healthy and light .. pure love !!

Some small tips , how to boost your metabolism

get enough sleep

drink green tea

dont skip breakfast

gulp some water

spice things up

squeeze in some cardio

drink coffe

laugh a lot

Spring is upon us .. time for some spring cleaning ..

un commit to any friendships that are leaving you feeling bad about yourself or unnatural ,

re commit to the friendships that leave you happy and fullfilled.

Do you , but the best version of you , and say bye to negative body image once and for all !!

Meditation have been used for thousands of years , mostly practiced by monks , disciples of spirituality and hippies , and it works... with anti aging , fighting infections and feelings of loneliness , however not everyone feels like just sitting 20 minutes doing nothing , here are some alternative forms of meditating .. listen to music, dance like nobodys watching , practice yoga & eat properly , experience and savour each bite for what it is !!

Give yourself permission to be around those who vibrate at the same or a higher frequency than you .. protect your energy , even if that means changing plans or saying no ...
