Downsizing !
Hello , with a little more than a month to go to christmas ....some personal or christmas downsizing might be something to consider ...
so take time now for walks , some walking every day , might reduce your belly some , before christmas time turns up , and eat your apples and avocados , fill yourself up with water and low carbs , make a small dish of greek yoghurt and cucumbers , lots of healthy proteins there , or maybe cottage cheese with berries , or my personal favourite peanut butter spread on celery sticks .. very few carbs and divine to snack on .. some mixed nuts is also a good idea to keep in your pocket , it will keep your energy up for hours with very few carbs , another of my specials are hummus , so filling with not so many carbs ....
your food choices will even help your looks ... yes more colours , especially the purple ones , they are full of delicious antioxidants and have amazing anti - inflammatory and other health benefits , exercise and sleep can transform your skin into the face you want to present to the world , oh yeah its also , very important how you feel ...
in order to feel better , breath better and think better , it is important to know that you are not responsible for how other people feel ...yeah let that sink in , so if you are tripping on your toes or serving others all the time , putting yourself aside ... the result will be that they are expecting you to be all in for them , the power of your life are in the hands of others , yes you can open up your heart and listen to your friends , but you can not carry their backpacker .... so take a deep breath and live your life in love , peace and happiness !
some tips to keep yourself a little bit away from all the tempting foods and drinks ahead ...
pick protein - eat and chew slowly - fill up on fiber - use smaller plates - sneak in the veggies - wait for grabbing seconds - beware of booze - drink water - stay positive - de stress - move it and lose it ... !
anyway ... lets enjoy the holiday season , with happy hearts and sparkling smiles , and I do believe that it is not necessary with a lot of expensive gifts ... maybe we can give some to charity instead , or just help somebody out , and smile to people in the street .. even if they dont smile back , which I do experience a lot , feels like they are afraid ... !
some thoughts about a common problem , for sure I do live it everyday ... pain , mine is joint pain , which I live and has lived with many years ... and like me , a lot of people just dont want ant pain killers from the pharmacie ...try turmeric ... or exercise , less pain more energy , stretch more hurt less , boost your muscles and mood ....me personally love yoga and deep breathings .. every day !
if you ever tried to meditate in a room full of flowers ...it can improve your mood and increase your poise .. speaking about power , the power of scents , try it out !
after your yoga or meditation a little healthy snack , which feels like something from the 70ies menu ...
Garlic Shrimp Stuffed Avocados
you will need some halfes of avocado , peeled shrimps , garlic , herbsalt and olive oil !
toss the shrimps with crushed garlic and herbsalt , a dust of cayenne if you feel like it , fill the avocado halfes with the shrimps and decorate with dill , add an egg if you want !
so simple and very delicious !
