Chillier or chill out !

here we go again , chillier times , or that time of the year again .. there is like a white mist outside , beautiful .. to look at , but you need socks , proper shoes and extra time to get the car in driving mode ...I hate socks , proper shoes and such things .... then again the food that goes naturally this time of the year are a true delight , hearthy soups and stews .. with some chili maybe , love it ..

this is also the big cold and flue season better be prepared , you can go a long way by what you eat ...eat the rainbow , as much colours as possible and mix raw and steamed or lightly boiled veggies , 1 or 2 fruits a day , you cant go wrong with that !

energy boosting foods ...whats that , well the fact is that some changes in your daily diet can change how you feel , steady blood sugar levels are affecting your mood , whole grain carbs , nuts , lean meats , salmon , leafy greens , beans and drink your water ...

people who start their day with a good breakfast have a better mood during the day .. and small meals every 4-5 hours results in a more constant energy level .. and that might make you smile more .. oh and of course do your exercise !

this one is a good choice for a small meal !

Smashed Chickpea , Avocado and Pesto Sandwich

combine 1 cup cooked chickpeas , 1 large ripe avocado , 2 tbsp basil pesto , juice from half a lemon , salt and pepper

smash until well combined and spread chickpea salad on bread slices , top it up with spinach leaves , cut in half and serve ! also perfect for your lunch box

me personally have the urge to indulge in this decadent - tasting , light and energizing pasta sauce ... today hope daughter agrees !!

cook 4 cups of cauliflower florets 7-8 min. meanwhile saute 1 tsp minced garlic in oil .

In a blender add the cooked and drained cauliflower , garlic , half cup milk of your choice , 25% cup nutritional yeast , 1 tbsp lemon juice , half tsp onion powder , sea salt and black pepper let the blender run until the sauce is really smooth you can add some butter if you want .. heat up the sauce again and serve with your favourite pasta .. I want tagliatelli today ..

love this recipe ! sprinkle some cheese and chopped parsley on top !

in order to build up a strong immune system , part from the food , you will also need social ties as in friends , hugs or a dog that loves you , a positive attitude , have a laugh , avoid empty calories .. candy, fast food or sodas , keep on moving , get your sleep , not so much alcohol , quit smoking , wash your hands ...

on my way to the gym now ...

no crazy exercises yet since its not so long time since my hip surgery ... but some nice ones in order to be able to eat more of that lovely pasta dish I will make later ....xoxo ..you have to plan your moves ....
