Eat Like A Greek !
There are a lot of reasons to skip eating meat ,...climate benefits of changing diet , would mean a lot , and infections related to antibiotica might be much less ,.. and of course your own health would improve , and your looks , joint pain and strange headaches where thrown out of the window slowly ,...well yuo might just start to feel great ,...!!
So we are coming back again to the Mediterranean Diet , and it is on a lot of peoples lips , the last years , for a good reason !
You can do a lot with veggies , and no you dont need meat to get your proteins ,.. in fact broccoli has more proteins than meat !!
I will give you 2 greek recipes today , which I have used a lot , because they are tasty and easy !
MARINATED OLIVES
Mix black and green olives in a nice glass jar together with garlic , rosemary and lemon if you put your lemonpeel in the freezer before using it, it will give off a better taste , then you cover your species with olive oil , and voila you have a nice little meze !

OVENBAKED FETA CHEESE WITH TOMATOES
In an ovenproof and oiled dish , put some slices of Feta cheese , top with cherry tomatoes in halfes , and sliced red onion , oregano , drizzle some olive oil on top and bake 20 min. on 180c , with some chopped parsley on top before serving it looks and taste delicious !
And of course this time of the year it is Barbecue Season , big time ,...so please dont forget that there are a lot of veggies you can put on your grill ,....which tastes divine , together with a flavoured butter ,..so use your fantasy !!
