Green things

Hi , have been to the super lovely island Gotland , for a week to get into the salad mixing , and of course to get to know the kitchen at Krusmyntagården ,. since all kitchens are different to work in ,. it doesnt matter how many years one has worked or how many places one has been to ,. they are all like a new lifestory to start with ,.. and I fell in love with my new summer, salad, green cooking space and with all the lovely new people to work with , of course it helps a lot that you have the baltic sea just around the corner , I mean you literally can see it in the corner of your eye ,..ah energy and lovely zen feeling !!

we also have this recykled old bike outside the kitchen door , anyway I am leaving the island today , will be back in a couple of weeks for the whole summer , unfortunately its really bad weather today , rain is falling from the sky , and it got me thinking about an old greek recipe SPANAKORYZI or GREEK SPINACH RICE

its really easy to make ,.. I normally just cook the rice , and in a skillet fry up spinach , leeks , garlic and dill in oil , and then mix all together , it has a real nice taste and it is vegan and gluten free.

Enjoy ,.. this is also of course a perfect dish for a Salad Buffet .

We have been mixing together a lot of different salads this week , so much fun and hard work , because it has been busy , a lot of people came to eat and drink coffe , these days !!

I am at the moment sitting in Maries kitchen in Vänge , talking and drinking a nice cup of tea , will be leaving for the boat any minute.
